Kazakhstan Trims June Crude Exports to Germany; Full-Year Target Unchanged

Kazakhstan's oil exports to Germany are set to fall to 160,000 metric tons in June, down from 230,000 tons in May, according to KazMunayGaz. Despite the dip, the country expects to meet its annual export target of 2 million tons via Russia’s Druzhba pipeline.

(Reuters) — Kazakhstan's crude oil exports to Germany will decline to 160,000 metric tons this month from 230,000 tons in May, Kazakh energy company KazMunayGaz said on June 26.

It added that supplies, dispatched via Russia's Druzhba oil pipeline, for this year are still expected at 2 million tons, or around 40,000 barrels per day, up from 1.5 million tons in 2024.

Kazakhstan has given its oil, supplied via Russia, the name KEBCO (Kazakhstan Export Blend Crude Oil) to distinguish it from Russia's Western-sanctioned Urals blend.
