CITGO Appoints Catarina Collins Serra Interim CFO

CITGO Petroleum has named Catarina Collins Serra interim chief financial officer following the departure of longtime finance executive John Zuklic.

(P&GJ) — CITGO Petroleum has appointed Catarina Collins Serra as interim chief financial officer, effective June 17, following the departure of CFO John Zuklic.

Serra joins the company with finance leadership experience across the energy, industrial and petrochemical sectors. Her previous roles include senior finance positions with Honeywell, SABIC, GE Power Conversion and GE Oil & Gas.

CITGO President and CEO Carlos Jordá said Serra's background in financial management and business transformation will support the company's ongoing operational and financial objectives.

"We are pleased to welcome Catarina to CITGO," Jordá said. "Her experience in finance, controllership and business transformation will be valuable as we continue to strengthen financial discipline and operational performance."

Jordá also thanked Zuklic for his nearly six years with the company, citing his leadership of the finance organization during a significant period for CITGO.

Serra holds a degree in economics from Universidade Católica Portuguesa and previously completed several finance and leadership development programs at General Electric.
