Kitsault Energy Proposes British Columbia Pipeline Corridor Linked to Pacific Export Hub

Kitsault Energy is advancing plans for a proposed British Columbia pipeline and export corridor that would connect Canadian natural gas, crude oil and NGL production to global markets through the Port of Kitsault.

(P&GJ) — Kitsault Energy is advancing plans for a proposed energy and export infrastructure corridor in northwest British Columbia centered on new pipeline systems and marine export facilities at the Port of Kitsault.

According to the company, the project would include dual pipeline systems designed to transport a range of commodities, including natural gas, crude oil, propane, butane and other resource products from Western Canada to international markets.

The proposed corridor would connect producing regions to Kitsault, a privately owned deepwater port and logistics hub on British Columbia's northern coast. The project remains in the development stage and no construction timeline was announced.

Kitsault Energy said the infrastructure concept is intended to expand export capacity and provide additional market access for Canadian resource producers. The company also indicated it plans to engage with First Nations communities as project planning advances.

Company founder and President Dr. Krishnan Suthanthiran said the project is being developed with a focus on long-term partnerships and economic participation opportunities for Indigenous communities.

Additional project details, including routing, capacity and regulatory timelines, have not yet been released.
