New Fortress Energy Inc. has resumed production at its 1.4 MTPA Fast LNG 1 unit offshore Altamira, Mexico, following a scheduled maintenance outage.

(P&GJ) — New Fortress Energy Inc. has resumed production at its 1.4 MTPA Fast LNG 1 unit offshore Altamira, Mexico, following a scheduled maintenance outage. The unit returned to operation as planned this morning.

This maintenance came shortly after the unit achieved a significant milestone by delivering its first LNG cargo on Aug. 9. The FLNG 1 unit is expected to continue ramping up production and reach full capacity later this month.
