Perma-Pipe Appoints Howard Energy’s Richard Sherrill to Board of Directors
Perma-Pipe International Holdings has appointed Howard Energy Partners executive Richard Sherrill to its Board of Directors. With decades of experience in midstream and pipeline infrastructure, Sherrill is expected to strengthen the company’s leadership and growth strategy.
THE WOODLANDS, Texas (P&GJ) — Perma-Pipe International Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: PPIH) has appointed Richard M. Sherrill, Senior Vice President of Business Development at Howard Energy Partners, to its Board of Directors, effective immediately.
Sherrill brings more than three decades of experience across the upstream and midstream energy sectors. He currently serves on the board of Talos Energy Inc. (NYSE: TALO), and previously led Ceritas Energy LLC, a midstream infrastructure company he co-founded in 2003 and headed as president until 2019.
His earlier career includes senior management roles at Duke Energy Corp., where he served as Chief Operating Officer overseeing North American commercial activities in the deregulated natural gas and power markets, and positions with Dynegy Inc. and First Interstate Bank of Texas. Sherrill earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from the University of Texas at Austin.

Sherrill succeeds Rob McNally, who is stepping down from the Board.
Perma-Pipe International Holdings, based in The Woodlands, Texas, is a global supplier of pre-insulated piping systems and leak detection technologies serving oil and gas, district heating and cooling, and other industrial applications. The company operates 14 facilities across seven countries.
