Cheniere Appoints Former McKesson CFO Britt Vitalone to Board
Cheniere Energy has appointed former McKesson CFO Britt Vitalone to its board of directors, adding more than three decades of executive leadership and financial expertise to the LNG exporter.
(P&GJ) — Cheniere Energy has appointed former McKesson Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Britt Vitalone to its board of directors, effective July 14.
Vitalone joins the board as an independent director and will serve on Cheniere's Audit and Compensation committees.
He retired from McKesson earlier this year after nearly two decades with the healthcare company, where he oversaw finance, treasury, investor relations, mergers and acquisitions, tax, procurement, technology and corporate security. Before joining McKesson in 2006, Vitalone held financial leadership positions across multiple industries.
Vitalone also serves on the board and audit committee of Align Technology.
Cheniere Chairman, President and CEO Jack Fusco said Vitalone's financial and executive leadership experience will strengthen the company's board.
"Britt's decades of executive leadership experience and financial expertise will complement and enhance the perspectives of our Board for the benefit of our stakeholders," Fusco said. "We look forward to his insight and contributions to help support and guide Cheniere's success into the future."
Cheniere is the largest producer and exporter of LNG in the United States, operating the Sabine Pass LNG terminal in Louisiana and the Corpus Christi LNG terminal in Texas.
