DT Midstream Advances Haynesville, Guardian Pipeline Projects

DT Midstream advanced several natural gas infrastructure projects during the second quarter, including a Haynesville expansion, a modernization project and a FERC filing for its Guardian Pipeline G3 expansion.

(P&GJ) — DT Midstream advanced several natural gas infrastructure projects during the second quarter, including a Haynesville system expansion, a modernization project on Viking Gas Transmission and a federal permit application for the Guardian Pipeline G3 expansion, as the company reaffirmed its full-year financial outlook.

The company said it executed new long-term contracts supporting Phase 5 of the LEAP expansion in the Haynesville, which will add 200 MMcf/d of natural gas transportation capacity. DT Midstream also reached a final investment decision on the first phase of its Viking Gas Transmission modernization project and filed a Section 7(c) application with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission in late June for the Guardian Pipeline G3 expansion.

The project updates accompanied second-quarter results that included net income of $112 million and adjusted EBITDA of $305 million. DT Midstream also reaffirmed its 2026 adjusted EBITDA guidance of $1.155 billion to $1.225 billion and its preliminary 2027 outlook of $1.225 billion to $1.295 billion.

Executive Chairman and CEO David Slater said the company continues to make progress on its growth portfolio.

"We delivered another strong quarter, with the business progressing in line with our full-year plan. We continue to advance our organic growth backlog, with $2 billion of projects now commercialized."

Chief Financial Officer Jeff Jewell said the company's operating performance supports its financial outlook.

"Our second quarter performance keeps us firmly on track to meet our financial goals for 2026, and we are reaffirming our 2026 Adjusted EBITDA guidance of $1.155 to $1.225 billion and our 2027 Adjusted EBITDA early outlook range of $1.225 to $1.295 billion."

DT Midstream said it now has $2 billion in commercialized growth projects as it continues investing in natural gas transportation infrastructure across its pipeline network.
