Jericho Energy Secures 20 MW Grid Access for Oklahoma AI Campus
Jericho Energy Ventures secured 20 MW of grid access for its Oklahoma AI Campus, with new 345 kV transmission and accelerated interconnection enabling expansion into multi-gigawatt gas-powered capacity.
TULSA, Okla. (P&GJ) — Jericho Energy Ventures Inc. announced a major step forward in energy infrastructure development for its AI Data Center Campus in Noble County, Oklahoma, after new regulatory updates from the Southwest Power Pool (SPP) accelerated grid interconnection timelines.
A newly completed 345-kilovolt transmission line crossing the site will provide 20 MW of available grid power starting in January 2026, with capacity to scale to multiple gigawatts of combined grid and natural-gas generation to support future data center expansion.
“Access to immediate, scalable power is the linchpin of successful data center development,” said Brian Williamson, CEO of Jericho Energy Ventures. “With 20 megawatts available in early 2026 and SPP clearing a pathway to gigawatt-scale capacity, our AI Campus is now uniquely positioned to meet the surging energy demands of next-generation digital infrastructure.”
The project underscores Oklahoma’s growing role in meeting the electricity and natural-gas supply needs of AI-driven data centers, as utilities and midstream operators work to strengthen transmission and generation networks across the Southwest.
Jericho said the enhanced grid access supports its long-term strategy of integrating low-carbon power solutions and positioning the site as a scalable hub for AI and digital infrastructure.
