Chevron Backs RapiCure's Rapid Pipeline Repair Technology
RapiCure Solutions has joined Chevron Technology Ventures' Catalyst Program to advance its rapid-curing pipeline repair technology, designed to reduce maintenance times from hours or days to minutes while improving asset integrity.
(P&GJ) — RapiCure Solutions has been selected to join the Chevron Technology Ventures (CTV) Catalyst Program, an initiative that supports the development and commercialization of emerging technologies for the energy sector.
The Colorado-based company said participation in the program will help advance deployment of its rapid-curing resin technology, which is designed to plug, seal, wrap and repair pipelines and other critical infrastructure in minutes rather than hours or days.
RapiCure's patented resin system is intended as an alternative to conventional epoxy-based repair products. Its Medusa™ line of tape and resin kits is designed for use on steel, concrete and other surfaces and can cure in high humidity, rain and a wide range of temperatures, allowing operators to reduce maintenance time and associated costs.
Chief Executive Officer Heather Rubin said participation in the Catalyst Program will provide opportunities to evaluate the technology with Chevron while supporting broader commercialization efforts.

Rubin said the company's technology is designed to address the industry's need for faster integrity management and asset repairs.
"Our resin technology is designed to close the gap between speed and performance for integrity management, reducing repair and maintenance times from hours or days to minutes while helping operators save time and reduce costs."
According to the company, its resin platform has already been deployed in utility and municipal applications and earned first-place honors at the 2025 Global Oil and Gas Cleantech Challenge.
