Construction Contract Awarded for BRUA Pipeline Compressor Stations

Consortium led by INSPET Ploiesti receives contract to build three compressor stations associated with the BRUA gas pipeline construction project.

Transgaz has awarded a contract to a consortium led by INSPET Ploiesti for the construction of the Podisor, Bibesti and Jupa natural gas compressor stations associated with the first phase of the Bulgaria-Romania-Hungary-Austria (BRUA) Pipeline.  The consortium also includes Petroconst, Moldocor, Habau PPS Pipeline Systems, IRIGC Impex, Sutech, TIAB and Reconsult Tech, and construction is expected to commence April 14.

The first phase of the BRUA Pipeline includes building a 479-kilometer natural gas pipeline from Podisor to Recas in Romania.

It is expected to be finished in 2019.
